BWSL Blues vs Leicester

We organised group trip for the big league game between BCFC Women versus Leicester Women at St Andrew’s.
We invited a number of people from the local community to experience their first taste of a Barclay’s Women’s Super League game.
It was nice to have a pre-match get together before the game and arrange some Dhol players to add to the atmosphere!
We didn’t get the right result that afternoon losing 2-1. However, it was a memorable experience for one junior fan:
“I enjoyed seeing the drummers, and taking pictures with the players at the end. I really got nervous when Birmingham were trying to score the second goal, we came so close” – Niah (Age 11, from Balsall Heath).
